Thanks to the kindness of local farmer & landowner Alex Dale, Dunbar has become our “go to” destination for our summer camp.
Hedderwick Hill farm just on the outskirts of town has everything we need and more! A dedicated field with short grass, water taps plumbed in, flushing toilets (yes really!) and a beach adjacent to our field all courtesy of Mr Dale - well ok the beach just happens to be there! -Thank you so much Alex!
The photos tell the story of our camps from the Church Hall, setting up tents, snapshots of life at camp during the week finishing with our last day of camp - sports competitions, camp concert and a final sunset lowering of the flag.
It’s all thoroughly enjoyed by staff and boys alike. For those who check in regularly you may wonder why John Forrest does not appear very often - of course the reason is simple - he’s usually the one taking the pics!
As we post this we are planning for Camp Dunbar 2021 - it doesn’t just happen you know - it takes a lot of planning and organisation so our thanks must go to John Forrest without whom, not just camp, but many things probably wouldn’t happen!

On a final note - across all section we have various events and activities planned for over the summer - obviously it will be great to see existing members, but please can we ask you all to spread the word to family & friends to bring/send their boys along - we can assure all a summer of activities, fun and adventure!
