What a delight to be holding a normal camp after all the upset of covid.
Once again, we were at Hedderwick Hill farm just on the outskirts of town. Our actual location within the farm has changed, positioned adjacent to the stable block of what was Hedderwick House. The camp was a great success with boys and staff alike enjoying great days out and, to use an old fashioned word, the great “fellowship“that only a 26th BB camp can bring. Only those that have experienced it can really appreciate what a great feeling and experience it offers. It really is the highlight of the year!
We would like to thank Alex Dale owner of Hedderwick Hill Farm for the use of a field and water supply, John Sinclair of Sinclair Haulage, Alloa for transporting all our equipment to and from camp, and Alva Academy for the use of their minibus.
